KALACRA is the artistic project of Armando Gómez, a DJ born in Caracas, Venezuela, and based in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Their proposal fuses Tech House, Latin Tech House and House, building sets full of energy, groove and a constant connection with the dance floor.
His story within electronic music began more than three years ago, not behind a booth, but as a raver. Living festivals, clubs and events, he discovered that music was much more than entertainment: it was a way to transmit emotions, create memories and connect people. Inspired by his friends and by the passion that the electronic scene awakened in him, he decided to take the step towards turntables to share with others the same sensations that once made him fall in love with this movement.
Since then, KALACRA has developed its own style where technique, musical selection and groove are the protagonists. Each session is designed as a sound journey that keeps the energy constantly evolving, taking the audience through moments of intensity, tension and release, always with an identity marked by fresh sounds and forceful rhythms.
His growth has led him to perform in different cities in Ecuador and Colombia, sharing his music on stages such as UrbanPro, Manifest, Razza, Banaraver, Velvet Coast, Casa en la Luna, KIF House, La Amanecida Fest and Go Skateboarding Day, in addition to participating in events held in Guayaquil, Machala, Salinas, Samborondón, Quito and Medellín.
For KALACRA, a DJ doesn't just mix songs; Build stories. Each track has a purpose, each transition generates an emotion and each presentation seeks to become a unique experience for those in front of the booth.
With a vision focused on continuing to grow within the Latin American electronic scene, KALACRA continues to perfect its sound, exploring new influences and taking its proposal to new scenarios, always maintaining the essence that defines its project:
"Every set tells a story."
