Kahnti

DJ Kahnti is a Philadelphia-born, Dallas-based DJ, producer, and vocalist whose sound blends Afro, Deep, and Soulful House. Guided by a belief in music’s ability to uplift and connect, she brings expressive vocals, deep grooves, and vibrant percussion to both her productions and DJ sets.

Her catalog includes releases on Unquantize and her own label, Ladybug Recordings, with tracks such as “My Boo Thang,” “Energy (Can U Feel It),” “Mirage,” and “Free’dom.” Her debut album, One Love, released on Unquantize, earned multiple weeks in the Traxsource Top 20 and received support from DJ Spen and Thommy Davis, alongside coverage in Blues & Soul Magazine.

Kahnti has brought her sound to the BBE Store in London, House of Vibes in New York, and It’ll Do in Dallas, where she opened for Nitefreak. Recent highlights include headline performances at the Capital House Music Festival and Seattle’s Monkey Loft. She is also scheduled to perform at Barbara Tucker’s The Love House during Amsterdam Dance Event 2026.

Through House Music Therapy, Kahnti shares regular DJ sessions centered on joy, release, and community. Having begun her music journey in her 50s after a career in technology, she brings a spirit of reinvention and purpose to her work. Whether behind the decks or lending her own voice to a track, her intention is the same: to move people through music and create space for connection on the dance floor.
