KABAZZAH

Kabazzah, is an indie rock and dreamgaze band, formed in 2020 by Michael Rubio (Bassist of other bands such as MP3 ́s and La Raiz) and Willy Flores Acuña (Independent Trujillo guitarist and composer) who died in the Covid pandemic, who would later be joined by the singer Eduardo Cabrera on vocals and Edwin Canelo (First guitar of the mythical Trujillo band Plosh ) on guitar, leaving the band complete since it uses percussion and drum sequences in its sound where influences of recognized indie, rock and pop bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, The Cure, Lana Del Rey and Lorde are perceived, mixed with a unique and personal touch. Currently, at the head of Kabazzah is Bela Artiaga who would enter as a new proposal in the voice of the band in October 2024, Edwin Canelo on first guitar and Michael Rubio on bass and percussion and drum sequences that give a particular sound to the band. At the moment, Kabazzah is preparing his first album, which includes the songs: Y dime, Por ti, Mascara, Escapar, Cadenas, Ente, Intenta. Currently, the band is focused on the recording of their first official album, so they do not have scheduled performances. However, they maintain their presence on social networks, where they share previews of their music and interact with their followers. Kabazzah's lyrics are characterized by their emotional depth and their ability to connect with the audience. They address universal themes such as love, loss, heartbreak, loneliness, and the search for identity, using a poetic and everyday language at the same time. Kabazzah is currently promoting the song "Máscara" which is an introspective song that explores feelings of heartbreak and the struggle to get over a breakup, in addition to the difficulty of forgetting an ex-lover and the need to find the truth behind the masks that both wore in the relationship. Kabazzah is a promising band with great potential within the independent music scene. Their fresh sound, introspective lyrics and passion for music make them an attractive proposition for indie rock pop lovers. It is to be hoped that in the near future they will continue to reap success and consolidate their place in the TRUJILLANA music scene.
