Joseph for Real

JFR was born and raised on the edge of the city of Paris, France. Stimulated by his sound hypermnesia from a very young age he listened to every CD his family owned a number of times and, came adolescence, found a guitar to finally learn to create music. Now a veteran in guitar, bass, drums and piano, his love for soul, funk, hip hop and jazz led him to dive into electronic music, first as Dj and soon as a producer. With influences such as Tobhias Guerrero, JXXXO, Paul Laurens and Kaval or Siu Mata, Rezan Said, JFR crosses genres to create his sound.

Through the years, Joseph for Real has rocked the dance floors of a number of venues in Paris (Hasard Ludique, La Bellevilloise…) and abroad (Romania, Cambodia). He also has regular slots at more underground, hidden events.

JFR is an artist with a wide array of influences from the East to the West. He particularly enjoys mixing deep Berlin style techno with warm and percussive broken-beat tracks from all over the world which spell sensuality and warmth in the raw concrete universe of Techno underground parties.

Now an accomplished Dj with an EP in the works, JFR would love to extend his reach to new party goers who love hybrid dance music and are ready to board a flight to the unknown with complementary acidity, restless drum-lines and absolute freedom vibes.
