Ever since he was a child in Venezuela, Jose Alves felt the call of the vibrant rhythms and creative freedom of electronic music. This love led him to embark on a career that began in 2016 as a DJ, but soon evolved into music production in 2017. By 2020, Jose decided to dedicate his life to perfecting his craft, bringing to life a unique sound that fuses organic instruments with electronic textures, loaded with deep percussions and enveloping melodies that capture the soul of Afro House.

His rise on the global scene was not long in coming. In 2021, his track "My Sound", released under Mukua, peaked at #77 on Beatport's Afro House Top 100, marking the beginning of an unstoppable trajectory. That same year, he debuted with his album Melomanos Vol. I, a work that united Venezuelan giants such as Manybeat, Sebastian Rivero and Andres Hernandez (VE), consolidating his reputation with impressive streaming numbers.

Jose didn't stop there. Collaborations such as "Resurreccion" with Gabriel Domínguez (VE) accumulated 50K streams on Spotify, while 2022 brought hits such as "Warning" (#67 on Beatport Afro House) under Switch Records, and "Amanecer" with Luisana Márquez, which surpassed 190K plays on Spotify. His track "Dancing", with Wilgenis Vergara and Dafer Panda, saw the light of day under the prestigious Wired label, reinforcing his place in the industry.

2023 was a defining year with "GPS," signed by Tortuga Tribes (of Sparrow & Barbossa), which achieved 83K streams on Spotify, and "Cantamos," a collaboration with Gabriel Nieves and Carlos Slm under Peppe Citarella's Union Records (IT). In 2024, Jose signed "Iyoo" with Oscar G's Made In Miami (#88 on Beatport), collaborated with YoungPapi on a remix of Big Soto's "Sueños," and released his Sola EP with Polyrhythm Music.

2025 marked his consecration. "La Vida", created with Dbasser, Peter Guzman and Kaala Shaw, surpassed one million streams on Spotify and opened the doors to Spinnin' Records, where it was relaunched with worldwide success. This milestone is not only an achievement, but a reflection of his perseverance and passion.
