Born in 1983, Jorge Ross's history with music began practically from the cradle, growing up in the atmosphere of the nightclub that his parents managed. At just 8 years old, he began to make his first trips to the decks, developing an ear and a musical intuition that would mark his career. The Beginnings and the Southeast Route (1991 - 1999) At the age of 14, his career took the first professional leap when he signed for Archy's Móvil. This opportunity led him to travel through a large part of the provinces of Murcia, Almeria and Granada, playing at fairs and patron saint festivals, which gave him a draw and an absolute dominance of the track in large-format events. Consolidation in the Great Rooms (1999 - 2007) At the age of 16, Jorge entered as a second DJ at the emblematic Sala Silos in Lorca. His talent did not go unnoticed and, soon after, he became the first and only resident DJ in the room. For six uninterrupted years he was in charge of setting the pace for each weekend. The success at Sala Silos led the owners to expand and open a new space, La Abadía, where Jorge Ross took on a double role of great responsibility: first DJ of the new room and in charge of the management of the DJs of Sala Silos. During the summer seasons, taking advantage of the closure of these venues for holidays, Jorge continued to be active touring coastal and renowned venues along the coast. The Great Leap and Official Screening (2008 - 2010) The year 2008 marked a before and after in his career when he became the Official DJ of the Fair and Festivities of Lorca. Their music was broadcast live to 25 tents simultaneously, making more than 10,000 people dance in a unified proposal that was repeated with the same success in the 2009 and 2010 editions. Her projection continued to expand in 2010 when she became part of professional collectives and platforms such as Deluxe House Collective and, months later, joining as an official deejay of Norofiestas.com. Musical Philosophy and Current Affairs If there is one thing that defines Jorge Ross, it is his versatility. Far from being pigeonholed in a single genre, he defines himself as a true lover of all music. His style is based on reading the track: knowing what to put on at the right time for the audience to enjoy. In their sessions they coexist from the freshness of classic pop to the energy of house, electrohouse and tribal rhythms, always looking for the perfect fusion of classics with avant-garde electronica. After a four-year hiatus away from the club circuit, 2026 marks his long-awaited professional return to the stage with the launch of his new event concept, Electropop, designed to revitalize the music scene by mixing great anthems from pop history with the forcefulness of today's dance floors. At the same time, Jorge is still very active in the studio working on new studio productions that will be released soon.
