Joel cut his teeth in the electronic music scene playing packed house parties, underground raves and club events in his hometown of Minneapolis when he was just 18 years old. Joel’s DJ career shifted into a new phase when he won a few local DJ contests along with the opportunity to provide opening support for touring headliners. Over the years, Joel has provided support for some the scene's biggest names such as John Summit, Oliver Heldens, Bad Boy Bill, Darude and many more. As a veteran DJ, Joel has moved crowds from the east to the west coast while also solidifying his place in the dance music scene as a producer. Joel’s releases have received support from the likes of Tommie Sunshine, Don Diablo, Marco Carola, Westend and many more with several releases charting in the Beatport Top 100. His edit of a classic hip-hop tune also amassed tens of thousands of plays and quickly became a staple in HP all-stars DJ sets. With hundreds of thousands of streams and a reputation for pure musical gold, this Portland-based DJ and producer is not just riding the wave; he’s making it.
