JAYSWANN

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Jay's roots began as a producer in 2016 in the electronica realm akin to Flying Lotus and XXYYXX with many labeling it forward and experimental. As his sound grew and evolved, so did his craft as a DJ, establishing himself as a mainstay in the east coast's thriving dance scene. Since the release of his project BOOTY BASS INFINITI in 2025, JAYSWANN has been featured on the Lot Radio, NTS, Softshell Studios, the Baltimore Beat and Bmore Art.

Jay currently has multiple DJ residencies in Baltimore, the most popular being his Garden Hours party at Current Space, a bar and art gallery in downtown Baltimore, where he brings special guest DJ's both local and from out of town.

His sound can be described as fast, loud, gritty and contagious. While there's no one genre in particular that completely encapsulates Jay's artistry, for reference it can be described best as a hybrid of Miami Bass, Baltimore Club and House. While Jay does stay adjacent to his roots and early influences, he also tends to bend the rules in terms of the fundamentals of a traditional dance track.
