Javier Santos

Javier Santos has been immersed in electronic culture for more than three decades, exploring its many aspects with an unwavering passion. His eclectic spirit and constant non-conformism have made it difficult to pigeonhole him within the clubbing circuit. Far from following trends, it has built its own identity based on curiosity, evolution and the constant search for new sound languages.

Throughout his career he has been part of different groups, has promoted projects as a promoter and has participated in the organization of events both in Spain and in the United States, leaving his mark on both scenes. As a DJ, he has been a resident in some of the most emblematic venues in Valencia and Los Angeles (California), the city where he lived for nine years and where he consolidated a fundamental part of his international career.

His first steps in the booth took him to the legendary A.C.T.V. in Valencia, one of the temples of electronic music in the nineties. Some time later he crossed the Atlantic to settle in Los Angeles, where he became one of the residents of the mythical Garden of Eden, located in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard. Since then he has participated in countless events and collaborated with different groups and promoters on both sides of the ocean.

Parallel to his facet as a DJ, Javier also develops his career as a producer, publishing various references in which he reflects his personal vision of electronic music, always with a marked creative restlessness and a constant search for new sound nuances.

His artistic versatility is also manifested through ATAMA, his most experimental alter ego. Under this AKA he explores the most avant-garde territories of electronica, building immersive and avant-garde sessions. As an active member of the Square One collective, he participates in projects where experimentation, innovation and club culture become the central axis of each proposal.

Musically, Javier Santos moves naturally between Disco, Funk, House and its different ramifications, creating elegant, dynamic and groove-filled sessions. Its ability to connect eras, styles and textures results in a dance experience that is as sophisticated as it is energetic, where musical selection always takes precedence over passing fashions.

After more than thirty years of career, Javier Santos continues to evolve with the same enthusiasm as on the first day. His commitment to music, his international experience and his artistic restlessness keep him in constant movement, demonstrating that electronic music is, for him, much more than a genre: it is a way of understanding culture, creativity and connection with the public.
