Jamie McLean

Jamie McLean is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer developing a sound rooted in deep and melodic house, combining atmospheric textures, emotive melodies and subtle grooves. His approach is centred around creating a sense of movement and progression, allowing each set to develop naturally from deeper, more immersive moments into more uplifting dance floor energy.

Inspired by artists including Âme, &ME, Eden Burns and White Square, Jamie draws on the deeper and more melodic side of electronic music while maintaining a strong focus on rhythm and atmosphere. His sets are built around flow, with carefully selected tracks creating a journey that can evolve with the energy of the room.

Alongside DJing, Jamie is developing his own sound through original production. His debut single, “Fuse,” marked the beginning of this journey and has received support from DJs and producers including Pattn and REj, who have featured the track in their sets.

With further original music currently in development, Jamie is focused on expanding his catalogue and continuing to refine his sound both in the studio and behind the decks. His production work is becoming an increasingly important part of his artistic identity, allowing him to develop the ideas and atmosphere that shape his DJ sets into his own original material.

Currently building his presence within the underground electronic music scene, Jamie is focused on developing his sound, connecting with new audiences and establishing himself across the Scottish and wider UK electronic music landscape.
