Inner Pulse // Sandrita

Originally from Spain, Sandrita’s music is deeply ingrained in Techno roots. After moving to New Zealand in 2017, and after attending and performing at many festivals around the islands, she was influenced by the unique psychedelic flavor of the local scene. This led her to incorporate psychedelic elements into her sets, eventually diving into dark, prog, and psy-inspired directions. Recently signed to Dense Nebula Records, Sandrita's project takes a turn to reflect the influence of the island in her style, and to separate her work into different projects, each with its own sound and identity.

Inner Pulse is Sandrita´s second project. She delivers driving Hardgroove and Hypnotic Techno fused with deep melodies, electro textures and experimental sound design. Her roots are set on Detroit techno, and she has wide versatility in between subgenres. Electro and synth sounds often weave into her sets, giving them a distinctive edge. With Inner Pulse, Sandrita embraces the spirit of experimentation: layers for the body and the psyche, raw energy, and delicate details that expand the dancefloor into a deeper experience. . Expect sultry Techno, full of soul, and alive.

Sandrita was born in one of the European hubs of techno, Collado Villalba, Madrid. In her early years she worked as a club public relations agent, which gave her close contact with the culture of electronic music. With roots in Progressive Hard House, Trance, and Techno from the early 2000s, she started playing records as a hobby and delving into the early editions of Reason, soon becoming deeply committed to techno. Passionate about dancing and following her favorite artists across her country and continent for years, she eventually took a break from the party scene to experience and guide adrenaline-fueled extreme sports around the globe.

Settled in New Zealand during covid times, Sandrita started organizing techno parties and nurturing a small scene in the South Island. This led to amazing opportunities to play at major festivals across the country. She has also created and curated three distinct event series:

xxx"Suave", dedicated to downtempo and deep house blended with analog synths and live instruments.

xxx"SōMA", her most recent series, exploring the experimental, ritualistic and hypnotic side of techno and tekno, presenting artists who defy norms and expand the underground spectrum.

xxx"Soundation Outdoor gatherings / Techno Carnivals" The maximum expression of her passion. Interactive art, games, diferent zones, workshops from circus, to production, yoga, sound journeys, or sustainable agriculture. All in between days and nights of music.

Techno Scene

She has been actively supporting the techno scene in the South Island of New Zealand since 2020, creating a Facebook page for local lovers to connect. She hosts a radio podcast showcasing New Zealand producers, speaking about their musical journeys, and runs Soundation events. She is also the main coordinator of the Pulse Stage at Yatra Festival, where techno and house artists from all over the country and abroad are showcased
