Houz

Houz is a Tunisian electronic music producer and DJ whose work sits at the intersection of deep house, ambient and understated techno. He began his musical journey as a drummer and percussionist, developing an early sensitivity to rhythm and groove before transitioning into electronic music production in 2017.

This percussive foundation remains central to his sound. His productions are defined by warm textures, spacious arrangements and minimalist rhythmic structures, where rhythm is felt as much as heard. Rather than relying on peak-time intensity, Houz builds slow-burning narratives that unfold with patience, focusing on groove, silence and subtle melodic progression.

Balancing movement and restraint, his music carries a distinct emotional clarity. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Houz creates immersive and intimate environments, designed to resonate both in solitary listening and within the quiet tension of a dancefloor.

His work has been released on labels such as Pintai, Hypnotic Ltd and Welter Records, including the vinyl release Humanity Divided EP on Pintai, alongside his self-released Portrait EP.
