Carlos Cusquisiban Cubas, artistically known as HOUSEBEAT, is a DJ originally from Cajamarca whose connection with the underground scene began at a young age. His first direct approach to the movement was under the influence of the local referent Luis León, marking the beginning of a training guided by authentic electronic culture.
After several years developing his technique in the booth with his close circle, in 2018 he founded Red Sound, one of the most representative brands of the Cajamarca electronic scene. That same year, he decided to formally launch his career as a DJ, with the advice and support of Leo Cerna, thus consolidating a solid artistic and professional base.
Since then, HOUSEBEAT has taken its proposal to different cities in Peru, progressively positioning itself within the national circuit. He has shared the booth with some of the most influential DJs in the country such as Chinonegro, Ammo Avenue, Tolinchilove, Gameroloco, Soraya and Teba; as well as with international artists such as Raiann (Argentina), César Mantilla (Ecuador) and Montenegro (Mexico).
Their style is distinguished by a powerful fusion of Latin House and Tech House, with a characteristic groove that generates an immediate connection with the track. Their sets are designed to build dynamic atmospheres, maintaining a constant energy that evolves strategically throughout the presentation.
Throughout his career, he has performed in key cities such as Lima —in venues such as Casona de Camaná, Aquelarre and Ibiza (Chaclacayo)—, as well as in Chiclayo (Cralow) and Pimentel (CIX Events), expanding his reach within the national electronic scene.
Currently, he is considered one of the main references of the electronic movement in Cajamarca and is in the production of his first official track, which is scheduled for release this year, marking a new stage in his artistic development.
