Hallgreenboy

Hallgreenboy is an independent Scotland based artist and songwriter whose music moves freely between pop, rock, folk and synth pop. His songs are built around melodic hooks, vivid storytelling, thoughtful lyrics and atmospheric production, with subjects ranging from personal reflection and relationships to imagination, everyday life and the stranger corners of modern living.

Working independently, Hallgreenboy writes and records his own material, creating songs that can be intimate and reflective one moment, then playful, surreal or energetic the next. His approach is driven by a love of words, melody and storytelling, with each song given its own character and atmosphere.

Originally from Wigan, Lancashire, and now connected with Scotland, Hallgreenboy also has a notable musical family connection. He is the cousin of Limahl, best known as the lead singer of Kajagoogoo and for his international solo career.

Hallgreenboy continues to release original music independently, building a catalogue that crosses genres rather than sitting neatly inside one musical box.
