There are artists who come to music. And there are others for whom music was always there. GUEDON clearly belongs to the second group. Born in Belgium and raised in Madrid, his relationship with sound began before he was four years old — long before he could name it. What came next was inevitable: a love for music capable of evoking emotions, of transforming a space, of telling something without words. His professional training came with the INTED school and, above all, with three names that have left their mark on the Spanish electronic scene: Crusy, José de Mara and Julio Navas. Three mentors, three different schools, the same lesson: that behind each set there is a criterion, an identity and a responsibility with the dance floor. Today, GUEDON is a resident at the Kapital Theater in Madrid — one of the venues with the greatest electronic tradition in the capital — and is a regular presence in the Fabrik booth, the techno and house temple of the Madrid scene and one of the leading clubs in Europe. His music is available on Spotify, Beatport and SoundCloud, with releases on labels such as Candy Flip, Senssual Records, Groove Time Records and Papa Black Records, as well as remixes and bootlegs that circulate among the most attentive on the scene. His sound language orbits between house, tech house and minimal/deep tech, but always with the same compass: groove. Not blind energy or easy impact, but that pulse that makes people move without knowing why. The same philosophy that he shares with artists he admires — Pawsa, Mochakk, Denis Cruz, Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones or Carl Cox — and that turns each of his sets into a journey with intention.
