Giomba

Giovanni Giomba, born in Milan in 1977, began DJing at the age of 13; he made his official debut at 17 at the Palashow nightclub in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI), a landmark venue of the 1990s in the eastern part of Milan. This debut led him to work in Milanese clubs, hosting ‘Open Night’ events at various venues across the city, including Atlantique, Magazzini Generali, Hollywood, Plastic Club and 4Centro, as well as various collaborations such as organising events at various Italian clubs and public events, including the Milano Sixties Fever Festival and the current electronic music festival Masnada Elettronica. His years of experience in the electronic music scene have meant he has not limited himself to a single musical genre, but has explored a wide range, including the 1960s and 1970s; the latter led him to focus on Funk, House Music, Tech House and Soul, before settling on Drum N Bass. In his mixes, you can hear various musical genres, with a Bass House foundation.
