Fuchsine

Fuchsine is a classically trained electronic music producer creating melody-forward IDM, combining a compositional approach with experimental production and storytelling. Drawn to electronic music for its freedom from traditional constraints, she uses it to explore sounds and ideas beyond the limits of acoustic instruments. Melody is central to her approach, often serving as the starting point from which each arrangement develops. For Fuchsine, melody provides an emotional and narrative anchor, giving listeners something to follow through experimental music.

Her debut concept album, 'Alien Nation', tells the story of a black cat whose peaceful life is shattered by an alien invasion. After enduring and defeating its tormentor, the cat joins the other survivors in celebration before setting out to find a new home. Across six musical chapters, the story moves from invasion and destruction to resistance, celebration, exile, and ultimately the creation of a new kingdom.

Working with a computer, MIDI controller, and microphone, Fuchsine builds each piece from its musical ideas outward, allowing melody, rhythm, vocals, and arrangement to shape the story. Her influences span classical music, video-game soundtracks, experimental electronic music, and future R&B. Future releases will continue exploring melody-driven music across different sounds and genres.
