Freeka

Freeka is an Italian DJ based in Barcelona, where she has been developing her artistic path since 2019. Her identity has been shaped on the dancefloor, guided by groove and by a direct, physical relationship with sound.

Her sound explores groove-driven hypnotic techno, incorporating elements of hardgroove and raw textures, built through tension and physical progression. Rather than relying on peak moments, she builds her sets through layering, using deep low-end pressure and controlled rhythmic progression to sustain movement on the dancefloor.

Atmosphere plays a central role in her sonic narrative. Dense textures and spatial vocals shape the darker passages, while more open sections introduce rhythmic drive and groove without breaking structural coherence. Vocal fragments emerge to release tension and expand the energy while maintaining the flow.

Over the past years she has performed at venues including The Garage of The Bass Valley, Macarena Club, M7 Club, Sala Upload and Bridge48 (Barcelona), sharing lineups with artists such as Coyu, Flug, Kashpitzky and Shlomi Aber. She has also appeared at festivals including aTECHneu and A LOVE SUPREME, bringing her sound to Madrid, Milan, Messina and Cork.

Alongside her club activity she has contributed a streaming set for Tempio Radio, the platform of Tempio del Futuro Perduto, one of the most relevant underground techno spaces in Milan.

She is also the founder of BOLDER LINE, a Barcelona-based techno collective focused on groove-driven underground sounds.

In her sound, darkness and light do not oppose each other — they intersect, finding their balance through tension.
