Franz Siren

House DJ • Producer • Radio Host • Event Promoter

Franz Siren has a weekly Friday residency at Purple Turtle in Reading, alongside monthly residencies at Magoo’s Bar in Henley and Angel Bar in Caversham.

Franz also runs Ruff House Radio, an online station dedicated to showcasing house music and emerging and established DJs, where he hosts a weekly show. Under the Ruff House banner, he also hosts and promotes events including Off The Hook.

With roots in radio and club culture stretching back to the early 90s, Franz’s career began with a weekly show on Freeze FM and regular bookings at Garage Fever. He later hosted and promoted his own club night, HUSH, in Slough, which ran for several years.

In the 2000s, Franz moved into soulful, funky and Latin house, co-hosting and promoting Filthy Beats, a monthly club night in Old Street, London.

During the Covid lockdowns, Franz got into music production, making and self-releasing two 140/deep dubstep albums alongside a catalogue of EPs and singles. He has since had releases on established independent labels, with tracks also featured on BBC Introducing.

Today, Franz’s focus is firmly on the dancefloor, playing current, cutting-edge house while continuing to build Ruff House Radio and grow its audience.
