Formula J

Formula J is a rising Minneapolis-based DJ and producer known for high-energy tech house, techno, and mainstage-influenced club sound that blends rolling grooves, driving basslines, and high-impact records built for the dancefloor. Over the past few years, he has built momentum through consistent performances across Minneapolis, including sets at Union Rooftop and Skyway Theatre, opening for artists like Sam Feldt and Ian Asher, and performing at events with SIMshows, Dance Agenda, and Backyard Boombox.

Inspired by artists like Westend, bradeazy, SIDEPIECE, Odd Mob, Rafael Cerato, Max Styler, Danny Avila, HNTR, HILLS, CID, and Mesto, Formula J brings an adaptable, crowd-focused approach to every set. His performances are built around reading the room in real time, feeding off the energy of the crowd, and shaping each moment rather than following a fixed script.

Now stepping into production, Formula J is expanding his sound beyond the booth and into original music, with his debut release, "Not Checking The Time," marking the beginning of a growing catalog built from the ground up in Minneapolis. With momentum continuing to build, Formula J is establishing himself as a name to watch in the Midwest electronic music scene.
