FLeX

FLeX is a Leipzig-based DJ with over two decades of dedication to electronic music. His journey began in the early days of digital production, experimenting with tools like Propellerhead Reason and Ableton, and absorbing the sonic influence of the 90s — a foundation that still shapes his musical identity today.

Since moving into DJing in 2018, FLeX has developed a distinct approach centered around deep digging and intentional curation. Spending hours on platforms like Bandcamp, he searches for unique, character-driven tracks across genres, building sets that go beyond simple genre boundaries.

His sound moves fluidly between breaks, breakbeat, UK bass, electro (classic, Detroit and modern), electronica, melodic house & techno and techno — occasionally incorporating drum & bass when it serves the flow. Rather than focusing on one style, FLeX is known for crafting cohesive, dramaturgical journeys where diverse tracks are connected through smooth, precise transitions and a strong narrative arc.

At the core of his sets is movement. FLeX plays for dancefloors that want to engage — whether in clubs, festivals, firespaces or contact dance environments. His sets combine high energy with a playful, interactive vibe, creating spaces where people can both connect and completely lose themselves in the music.

He has performed at festivals such as Subtopia Festival, KIS Festival, Rostoc Festival (CZ) and Alle Mitmischen Festival, as well as venues like Distillery Leipzig and Duqo Leipzig, alongside numerous smaller, community-driven events. Comfortable on both intimate and larger stages, FLeX adapts to the setting while maintaining his signature: a carefully curated selection, dynamic storytelling and a dancefloor that keeps moving.
