Erik Larsen, both in name and in spirit. Born between the cold north of Denmark and the warmth of Italy, music has always been his true home. Now a staple of Dublin’s vibrant music scene, Erik is a solo rock project driven by intimate power and raw emotion.Building his craft busking on Grafton Street, he turns everyday moments into shared experiences, transforming strangers into his choir. Having started songwriting during lockdown, his sound has continually evolved into a distinct style defined by soulful rock ballads, rooted in his dynamic acoustic guitar work and expressive vocal range. His musical identity is deeply shaped by the legendary rock and grunge powerhouses he grew up with, such as Chris Cornell, Myles Kennedy, and Shinedown. Whose raw vocal grit and songwriting authority remain his foundation. At the same time, modern blues-rock influences like KALEO and Shawn James are guiding his sound into a more personal, contemporary direction. Though a versatile multi-instrumentalist who handles bass and piano, Erik’s signature live presence shines brightest in his solo acoustic rock performance. He has brought this infectious energy to iconic Dublin venues such as Fibber Magees,delivering captivating sets that highlight the storytelling heart of rock ’n’ roll. Currently refining his technique and sound design at the prestigious BIMM Institute Dublin, Erik is taking his artistry to new heights. While firmly focused on his solo identity, he also collaborates with musicians from around the globe,blending diverse cultures into something genuinely authentic. Erik is now actively working on expanding his live footprint across Ireland, preparing live shows dedicated entirely to his original acoustic rock songs and ballads.
