Eric Boix

Born in Peñíscola, Spain, Eric Boix is an electronic music producer whose artistic identity lies at the meeting point between EDM, technological curiosity and a fascination for fantasy literature that has accompanied him since childhood.

Always attracted to innovation and understanding how things work, Eric studied Computer Engineering at university. Programming and logical thinking led him to explore a form of structured and technical creativity, while music and reading became spaces to disconnect, explore emotions and imagine other worlds.

Over time, these interests began to converge in his music. His technical background fuels his curiosity about production and sound design, while the stories he reads inspire some of his creative imagination. Fantasy, in particular, offers him a way to explore human emotions, relationships, and contradictions that can also be found outside of fiction.

These influences don't translate into songs that need to tell a specific story, or into music reserved for those who know their references. They manifest themselves in a more subtle way: in certain harmonic nuances, in the emotional tension of a melody, or in the feeling of a composition. Sometimes, those who know the worlds, dynamics, and narrative tropes that inspire them can find an extra layer of meaning. For the rest, the music retains its full force on its own.

With EDM as a starting point, Eric seeks to combine energy, melody and emotion with a creative identity of his own. His approach unites attention to technical detail with an imagination fueled by literature, without losing sight of the essential: creating music that connects with the listener, both on and off the dance floor.

Eric Boix's project is thus born from two ways of understanding creativity: the precision of those who want to understand how things are built and the imagination of those who have always enjoyed discovering new worlds.
