Elio Riso

ELIO RISO is one of Argentina's leading figures. With his distinctive style, a blend of underground techno and tech house, he has conquered dance floors through out Latin America and has been one of the few able to consolidate his status as an international DJ, thanks to the various residencies he has held over the years in Ibiza, Spain. He arrived on the White Island (Ibiza) in 1997, from 2002 has join Carl Cox at his "Carl Cox & Friends" and "Revolution" parties, held annually at the legendary Space Ibiza Club where he was a resident for more 10 years. Additionally, Elio has been part of the opening and closing parties and not only at Space Club, an many important venues on the island, such as Privilege (now UNVRS), Marco Carola at his Music On party (Amnesia), Resistance (Privilege), Pete Tong (Blue Marlin), and more. This summer, 2025, he can be heard at Blue Marlin, UNVRS and Amnesia. His presence at the epicenter of international dance music has earned him countless performances around the world, with regular appearances at some of the most important venues in South America, such as Mandarine Park, Warung, Crobar, and Morocco (2GTHR), among others. This has also allowed him to perform at international events like the Ultra Music Festival, where he has appeared in Buenos Aires, Chile, Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, Croatia, and, from 2008 to 2023, in Miami, as part of the Underground Resistance label, which is affiliated with the festival. In 2024, he will be part of the lineup at Creamfields on the Ants Stage in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the studio, Elio has enjoyed consistent success, with several of his productions receiving support from major artists such as Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Stacey Pullen, Kaiserdisco, and Dubfire, among others. He has released music on labels including HE-ART, Intec Digital, Bedrock, Blackflag Recordings, KD RAW, K9 Records, Defected, Monique Musique, Ultra Records, Natural Rhythm, Stereo Productions, Deeperfect, Om Records, Xime Records, Push Push Music, Blend It Records, Agile Recordings, Wow! Recordings, Iberican Encodings, Tres14 Music, and many more. He won the Best Tech House DJ award from DJ MAG Latin America for two consecutive years.
