ELIANA

ELIANA’s unique perspective as a trans woman shapes her approach to music, fueling her creativity every time she steps behind the decks. Her sets often center voices from the margins and explore themes of complexity and raw emotion. Starting as a hip hop DJ, she has grown into an electronic curator with a clear artistic vision and a deep respect for music and its diverse roots. Her experience as a visual artist, exhibited in independent galleries, influences how she performs - with the same attention to structure, tone, and emotional depth as her drawings. Ever since ELIANA started djing in 2019, her mission has been to uplift women and queer artists - especially those in hip hop, who are often sidelined in mainstream club spaces. Her sound has since expanded to genres like Gqom, Breakbeats, Bassline, and Deep Techno. She’s played across the local scene - from clubs and wedding receptions to venues like Cameri and Habima Theatres. She’s led dancefloors at LGBTQ+ women’s parties, performed at Pride events across the country (including Tel Aviv Pride Parade in 2023). Since early 2024, ELIANA has hosted Cozy Tapes on KZ Radio, focusing on the softer sounds of hip hop, UKG, afrobeats, and dancehall. In addition, she regularly performs live with local rap duo P.P.P. Looking ahead, ELIANA aims to echo her sound around the world - performing unapologetically and sharing her story through her selection.
