EKILIBRIUM Melodic Techno / Melodic House / Progressive House Project: PROTOCOL ⋮ OUSIA

There are artists who mix frequencies, and there are architects who tune in to realities. EKILIBRIUM belongs to the latter. Influenced by the avant-garde of global Melodic Techno and Melodic House —with references such as KREAM, Anyma, Tale Of Us, ARTBAT and Massano—, this Mexican DJ and music producer approaches sound art from a polymath perspective, fusing epistemology, Neo-Avant Garde aesthetics and neo-futuristic narratives in a current of his own that he defines as "Transcendental Melodic Techno".

Technical Evolution and Cockpit Mastery

EKILIBRIUM's journey formally began between 2021 and 2023 with rigorous professional instruction at the Zhakjarova Academy of Music. Under the tutelage of experienced DJs with international experience, he developed a pinpoint technique: he mastered the equalization of tracks purely by ear in just five months and specialized in the connection architecture of the flagship Pioneer CDJ-3000 system. Subjected to high-pressure drills – such as solving technical failures live and mixing without the assistance of the CUE button – EKILIBRIUM polished an absolute capacity for adaptation in the booth, moving with solvency from EDM and Tech House to Trance, Psytrance and Progressive House.

Industry Support and Local Scene

His technical prowess and reading of the court did not take long to generate impact. After a surprising and impeccable presentation of Progressive House at the Bar Quilmes (Downtown Guadalajara), he captured the immediate attention of established DJs of the Mexican scene (with presence in festivals such as Dreamfields). His consecration on the international stage came after the recording of his studio sessions; his specialized Trance set received the direct endorsement and validation of two titans of the global electronic industry: legendary platinum producer KLAAS ("Infinity 2008") and Manu van Aalst (A&R Manager of Tomorrowland Music), as well as other selectors of important international weight. In 2025, he was invited by DJ Guille Sagrado to be part of the select lineup of "Burning Sunday" at Gallos Garden, consolidating his presence in the avant-garde circuits.

The Production Laboratory: PROTOCOL ⋮ OUSIA

As a producer, EKILIBRIUM operates under the premise of injecting the "Absolute of the Transcendental" into audio design. Using the FL Studio DAW as his calculation matrix, his discography is a constant evolution of experimental and cinematic tracks:

• "Illusion": Their genesis proposal, a perfect hybrid between Melodic Techno and Trance. • "Senset": A piece with Synthwave tinges with a high nostalgic and melodic charge, which reminded many listeners of the classic "Resonance" by the producer known as Home. • "Introspection": A bold combination of Progressive House and epic orchestral arrangements inspired by the school of Hans Zimmer. • "Vortex", "Citadelle" & "Replica": The creative turning point where their sound reached an atmospheric and dark sophistication that listeners and colleagues in the scene immediately catalogued with the level and identity required for labels of the stature of Afterlife. • "Identity" & "Behind": His most recent and complex productions, where he introduces the advanced use of vowels and industrial textures.

Currently, operating from its performance setup (DDJ-FLX), EKILIBRIUM is preparing the physical convergence of its conceptual proposal PROTOCOL ⋮ OUSIA (inspired by the SELECTION trilogy by AYDEN LOYDE and LIQUID : LAB by the KREAM duo).

Their mission is clear: to tune the dance floors with a reflective, intense and mathematically perfect experience.
