Eder Kalet

Eder Kalet is a DJ originally from Zitácuaro, Michoacán, Mexico, whose relationship with music and DJ culture began at an early age. With ten years of experience, he started playing at private parties, until he made his way in the local scene and performed as a guest in different clubs and bars, in addition to serving as a resident DJ.

His proposal is based on a central idea: energy as an element that defines the experience on the dance floor. From an open format perspective, he develops sets that cover different territories of electronic music and club sounds, with influences ranging from Latin House and House to Progressive House, Dark Afro House and Techno. In commercial contexts, he also incorporates Reggaeton, Dance Pop and EDM.

His experience also spans a variety of formats and performance systems, from DVS turntables to controllers, CDJs, and computer-based setups. Although his main activity is as a DJ, he has explored music production with a few tracks released on SoundCloud.

At the same time, it promotes K Soundscapes, a space created to give visibility to local DJs who have solid musical proposals, but who do not always have the necessary audiovisual tools to present them. The project seeks to document their work and generate opportunities for more artists to share their music.
