DJ MATHU

DJ MATHU is a Stuttgart-based DJ known for a versatile, high-energy sound that moves beyond genres, cultures and borders. With the mindset of an open-format DJ and a strong connection to urban music, he creates sets that bring together different sounds while keeping one thing at the center: the energy of the crowd.

His musical journey started at a young age. Influenced by German and American Hip-Hop and Trap, DJ MATHU began producing music at the age of 12 and gradually developed his own understanding of rhythm, transitions and musical selection. Over the years, his sound evolved into a broad mix of international urban and club music.

His sets cover Hip-Hop, Afro, Amapiano, Dancehall, French Rap, Shatta, Soca, Reggaeton and Dembow, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to the audience, venue and atmosphere. This ability to move between different sounds allows him to create sets that can go from hard-hitting Hip-Hop and French Rap to Afro and Amapiano, Caribbean sounds or high-energy Latin rhythms without losing the flow of the night.

Coming from Stuttgart and being deeply connected to the Tamil event and music scene, DJ MATHU has also performed at numerous Tamil Hip-Hop and Afro events, combining South Asian cultural influences with modern international club sounds. He has performed in clubs across NRW, including Revolution Nachtpalast in Neuss, The Rouge in Bochum and Studios Club in Dortmund, alongside numerous other events and showcases.

DJ MATHU has also shared stages and performed alongside established artists, gaining experience in different event environments and in front of diverse audiences. Whether it is a club night, cultural event, live show, wedding, private celebration or a large-scale party, his approach remains the same: read the room, build the energy and create moments people remember.

Rather than being restricted to one scene, DJ MATHU represents a new generation of DJs who connect different cultures and musical worlds through the dancefloor.
