DJ Marcus

Nairobi has a sound right now, and I am glad to be part of the people building it. Currently I am the resident DJ at The Social House Nairobi, I have spent my career moving crowds as an open format DJ through Afrohouse, RnB, Hip Hop, Amapiano, and Afrobeats with the kind of instinct that only comes from reading a room in real time, not from a setlist. My work has put me on the radar of major brands and institutions across the continent. I have performed for Johnnie Walker, Monster Energy, and Coca-Cola, and partnered with Spotify Africa on music curation and promotion. I have played for Leading Vibe Initiative, the foundation founded by global star Tems. I have also worked in collaborations with Gannier, Tsavo, Nice & Lovely, Kwetu by Hilton, Cuban Code, Swift Academy by Martell, Sk8 City and recently ZENITH. What connects all of it is consistency and passion for the craft.
