Dj Marc Steel

DJ MARC STEEL is an Ecuadorian artist whose connection with electronic music began in 2016, the year in which he decided to get fully involved in the music industry and event production. What started as a deep passion for the underground scene quickly became a life project focused on promoting electronic culture and creating high-level musical experiences.

In 2018 he founded Guayas Beats, a label and platform dedicated to the promotion of events, the development of talent and the strengthening of the electronic scene. At the same time, he began his career as a DJ under the name of Marcos Alexander, consolidating an artistic identity based on technique, musical selection and connection with the public.

Throughout his career he has shared the booth with important national and international exponents, enriching his experience and artistic evolution. Among them are Carloh, Majo Orellana, Marcelo Garzozi, as well as international artists such as Bassel Darwish, Youniverse, Kidoo, **Daniel Orpi>, among other references of the electronic scene.

Over the years, his artistic vision evolved towards a more refined proposal, focused on Minimal, Minimal Deep Tech and the organic and dynamic sounds that characterize the new generation of electronic music. This transformation gave birth to a new identity: DJ STEEL, a project that represents maturity, evolution and a constant search for authenticity behind each presentation.

As a DJ, STEEL distinguishes himself by building immersive sets, with a careful musical selection, hypnotic grooves and a progressive energy that keeps the track in constant motion. Their goal is to create an experience where each mix tells a story and each session becomes a unique sonic journey.

He currently maintains a solid residency at Guayas Beats and Lost City / Lost Beach Club, spaces where he continues to develop his artistic proposal while working on the expansion of his career, collaborating with new talents and taking his sound to increasingly important stages.

Today, DJ STEEL represents the evolution of more than a decade of dedication to electronic music, combining experience in event production, music curation and a sonic identity that reflects his passion for contemporary minimalism and constant innovation within the underground scene.
