DJ Kepa BRazil

DJ Kepa BRazil (DKB) is the artistic evolution of the Brazilian-Spanish DJ and music producer who began his career in Brazil under the name DJ Peu.

Based in the Basque Country, he develops a universe where electronic music, aesthetics and performative presence dialogue as inseparable languages of the same artistic proposal.

His creative universe is built from Afro House, Deep House and Melodic House, in dialogue with club culture, queer and drag creative and performative traditions, his Brazilian roots and his life journey between Brazil, the Basque Country and Spain.

Far from understanding a session as a simple succession of mixes, DKB designs sound paths that combine deep grooves, organic percussion and an emotional narrative with a performative identity inspired by the queer creative tradition. She conceives the dance floor as a space of safety, encounter, freedom, identity, celebration, non-violence and authentic expression.

In his artistic project he integrates the gaze developed during his career as a social educator, providing a deeply human vision of club culture. He understands electronic music as an artistic, cultural and human language capable of making people enjoy, connecting people, awakening emotions and promoting significant positive experiences.

His project has been built independently, self-taught and progressively, and his releases currently have international distribution through Symphonic.

DKB offers a proposal born from life experience, from a journey through club and queer cultures, from curiosity and from the constant desire to continue learning, creating and advancing.
