Full bio

One of Croatia’s most respected DJs and producers, DJ Jock has spent over a decade building a global reputation in techno. His breakthrough came in 2015 when techno icon Carl Cox named him a rising star in a Beatport interview and soon after signed him to his legendary label, Intec Digital.

A six-time Best Croatian DJ award winner, DJ Jock has released music on some of the most respected labels in electronic music, including Carl Cox’s Intec, UMEK’s 1605, Coyu’s Suara, and Get Physical.

A true master behind the decks, DJ Jock is known for his raw energy, exceptional technical skills, seamless mixing, and powerful connection with the crowd. Whether headlining major festivals or setting the tone in intimate underground clubs, his performances consistently leave a lasting impression.

His sound has taken him across the globe, performing in the USA, UK, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and beyond. Festival highlights include Sonus Festival, Ultra Europe’s RESISTANCE, EXIT Festival’s Dance Arena, and Germany’s Ikarus Festival. Along the way, he has shared the booth with electronic music heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Solomun, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Jeff Mills, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, and Boris Brejcha.

In 2017, he founded Roots, a celebrated underground party series in his hometown of Split, Croatia, hosting international artists including Paul Kalkbrenner, Bart Skils, Cristian Varela, and Marco Bailey. His legendary annual seven-hour sets in Split have become a local tradition, while his decade-long residency at Zagreb’s iconic Boogaloo Club has established him as one of the country's most influential techno figures.

His productions have earned support from leading artists including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens, and Sasha.

In 2026, DJ Jock reached a defining career milestone with “Let Loose,” his collaboration with techno icon Adam Beyer, released on Beyer’s legendary Drumcode label. Originally conceived and produced by DJ Jock, the track caught Beyer’s attention and evolved into a powerful collaboration featuring the unmistakable vocal sample from System of a Down’s “B.Y.O.B.” Already making waves on major international dancefloors before its official release, “Let Loose” quickly established itself as a standout techno anthem.

The same year, DJ Jock expanded his creative vision with the launch of Roots Trax, his own record label, building on the underground identity and community he had cultivated through his Roots events.

Beyond the dancefloor, his creativity extends into soundtrack composition. In 2022, he composed the original score for the feature film Have You Seen This Woman, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, as well as music for the PC game Chef Tastic: Buffet Blast.

In 2024, he introduced JØL, a new alias dedicated to raw, uncompromising techno. His debut release under the project was signed to Marco Bailey’s renowned Materia label, earning support from Ben Sims, Dax J, Laurent Garnier, and Ben Klock.

From underground clubs to the world’s biggest festival stages, from scoring films to crafting dancefloor weapons — DJ Jock's path is driven by pure passion, talent, and relentless work ethic.
