Fairy DJ (he/she/they) is a Marseille-based FLINTA DJ whose universe is defifined by a magical, groovy and precise approach to techno. Deeply attached to the idea of the danceflfloor as a safe space, his relationship with electronic music was fifirst built on the danceflfloor, long before stepping behind the decks. He developed his artistic vision through a decade of intensive clubbing and raving across Europe, with Berlin standing out as a decisive turning point. It represented a second musical awakening: new sonorities, extended rave experiences and deep immersion in the city’s underground culture. Dancing through long, uninterrupted hours, sometimes stretching across entire days refifined his sense of groove, energy control, and technical precision, while opening him to a musical landscape far beyond what he had previously encountered. His project speaks directly to groovers; dancers who commit both physically and mentally, embracing dance as a collective, almost ritual practice rather than a momentary experience, where the danceflfloor is conceived as a shared and protected space. For him, techno must remain inclusive, warm and human. This dancer-first background strongly shapes his sets. Fairy DJ is uncompromising when it comes to danceability, energy management, and mixing technique. His goal is to create a space where dancers can fully let go; closing their eyes and surrendering to the groove without distraction, within an environment rooted in care, trust and inclusivity. Musically, his sound sits within dark hard-groove, typically around 144 BPM, blending a deeply Berlin-inspired atmosphere with contrasting percussive elements. His sets are built around a clear mood or emotional intention, unfolding with coherence and continuity rather than chasing peak-time moments. Fairy DJ’s identity is rooted in underground track selection, long-format storytelling and technical commitment. He favors extended sets, allowing grooves to settle, evolve, and fully capture the dancefloor. Hypnosis and continuity remain central, punctuated by carefully placed breaks that introduce unfamiliar, unsettling textures and moments of release. By conceiving his sets as rituals rather than performances, he creates environments where repetition, groove and duration dissolve the boundary between body and mind.
