DJ Camach's story begins long before he first gets behind a booth.

From third grade, music was part of his life through the conservatory, where he studied piano, participated in choir and was part of different musical groups. During those years he had the opportunity to share music with other musicians and live the experience of the stage from a very different perspective than today.

However, in the fifth year she had to leave the conservatory due to the lack of time caused by studies. Music was then in the background, but the connection with it never disappeared.

Years later, that need to reconnect with music found a new path.

One of the triggers was to discover a part of his own family's musical history. His father had been a DJ in Huelva during a time when sessions were built with vinyl and when getting different music could make a difference. He bought imported music that few had and even participated in openings of different clubs in Huelva and towns in the province.

Knowing that side of his father and talking to him about the possibility of recovering that connection with music ended up awakening something that had been inside for a long time.

For his birthday he received his first controller, a Pioneer DDJ-200. What started as a gift soon became a new way of experiencing music.

He started practicing, gradually discovering the possibilities of mixing and, above all, enjoying the feeling of being able to choose the music, build a session and share it with other people.

The first scenarios were the closest: events organized with friends, parents' parties, celebrations and New Year's Eve sessions. Experiences that served to lose fear, gain confidence and understand that DJing is not only about selecting songs, but about knowing what the people in front of you need.

The next step came when the opportunity arose to perform at Backstage Huelva. That date was the beginning of a stage in which DJ Camach began to take his project to different spaces in the province.

Then came performances in Ría Iguana, Chiringuito Alma Beach and Cielo, among other spaces, progressively expanding their experience and facing different audiences and environments.

The evolution continued with the jump to Seville, where he began to perform in spaces such as Terraza Chile, O'Clock, Terraza Nuit Sevilla and Occo Pool. At the same time, he continued to develop his career in Huelva, passing through places such as El Timbao, Chiringuito KM6, Mojito's de Punta Umbría and Chiringuito Calypso.

Among all these experiences, two stages that have been an important step in his career stand out: Live Punta Umbría and Terraza Puerto de Indias in El Terrón, two of the benchmarks of summer in the area.

But beyond the names of the venues and venues, there is one thing that has remained constant during these four years: the ability to adapt.

DJ Camach does not understand music as a closed formula. Each space has its own personality, each event has a different objective and each audience responds in a different way. For this reason, his proposal is based on the reading of the environment and the ability to modify the sound depending on what happens in front of the booth.

In nightclubs and cocktail bars, their repertoire focuses mainly on reggaeton, urban music and great commercial hits, looking for dynamic, recognizable and energetic sessions.

In private events and weddings, this versatility becomes one of its main tools: adapting the musical selection to the tastes, ages and characteristics of each celebration to ensure that different audience profiles find their moment on the dance floor.

And when the stage changes to a terrace, a beach bar or an afternoon atmosphere, another facet of DJ Camach appears, more focused on House, Techengue and Soulful House, creating sessions that accompany the atmosphere and evolve with it.

Three different contexts, the same objective: to make people enjoy through music.

His experience in different formats has taught him that a good session does not depend solely on technique or a particular musical selection. It also depends on listening to the audience, interpreting their reactions, and knowing when to maintain a musical line and when to change it.

Currently, DJ Camach continues to develop his project from Huelva and Seville, with the aim of continuing to grow and take his proposal to new spaces and events throughout Spain.

Four years after receiving that first controller, music once again occupies a leading place in his life. This time, not from a conservatory or behind a piano, but from a booth and in front of an audience.

A new generation, a new sound and the same need: to connect with music and share it with others.
