My name is Maria Isabella Guevara Valero and throughout my life I have learned that every experience, no matter how simple or difficult it may seem, leaves a teaching that contributes to shaping the person I am today. I consider myself a persevering woman, responsible and committed to everything I undertake. I have always believed that effort, discipline and honesty are fundamental values to achieve personal and professional goals, so I try to apply them in every aspect of my life.

I was born and raised in Colombia, a country full of diversity, culture and hardworking people who struggle every day to get ahead. From a very young age I received teachings based on respect, solidarity and love for the family. My parents instilled in me the importance of acting with integrity, valuing opportunities, and working with dedication to build a better future. Thanks to these principles, I have been able to face different challenges with strength and optimism.

During my childhood I enjoyed simple moments that I remember with great affection today. I shared time with my family, I learned from the elderly and little by little I developed my personality. I was always characterized by being curious, observant and eager to learn new things. Each stage of my growth strengthened my ability to adapt to changes and understand that life is full of challenges that can become opportunities when faced with a positive attitude.

As I grew up, I understood that education would be an indispensable tool to achieve my goals. For this reason, I took on each learning process with responsibility and dedication. Although at times the circumstances were not easy, I never stopped believing in the importance of preparing myself academically to build a better future for myself and my family.

Over the years I gained experience in the workplace, where I learned that work goes far beyond the fulfillment of some functions. I understood that respect for colleagues, effective communication, empathy and commitment are fundamental aspects to achieve excellent results within any organization. Each job allowed me to strengthen skills such as organization, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, and the ability to take on new responsibilities.

I am currently studying Occupational Health and Safety, a career I chose because I want to contribute to the protection of the life and well-being of workers. I believe that all people have the right to carry out their work activities in safe, healthy and dignified environments. This profession has allowed me to understand the importance of risk prevention, health promotion, emergency management and the creation of a true culture of self-care within organizations.

During my academic training I have acquired knowledge related to the identification of hazards, the evaluation and control of risks, the investigation of incidents and accidents at work, the development of emergency plans, the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, current Colombian regulations and the different strategies to promote safe work environments. Each subject has strengthened my skills and has allowed me to understand the great responsibility involved in ensuring people's safety.

One of the aspects that I value most about my training process is that it constantly invites me to think critically and look for solutions that really generate well-being for workers. I understand that prevention will always be more effective than correction and that proper risk management can save lives, protect families and strengthen the growth of companies.

On a personal level, I consider myself a persevering woman. When I set a goal, I do my best to achieve it through effort and discipline. I don't give up easily in the face of difficulties; Rather, I try to learn from every obstacle to become a better version of myself. I am convinced that failure does not represent the end of a road, but an opportunity to improve, correct mistakes and continue to move forward.

I am also characterized by being a responsible and organized person. I like to plan my activities, fulfill my commitments and perform each task with quality. I firmly believe that punctuality, honesty and respect are values that strengthen human relationships and generate trust both personally and professionally.

Another important aspect of my life is my permanent desire to learn. I believe that knowledge never ends and that there is always the possibility of acquiring new skills and strengthening those that are already possessed. I like to research, read, update myself and participate in training processes that allow me to grow professionally.

Family occupies a very important place in my life. It is my main source of motivation and strength. Thanks to their support I have been able to overcome difficult times and continue working for my dreams. Each achievement I achieve also represents a recognition of the effort and accompaniment of the people who have always believed in me.

In addition to my professional growth, I try to continuously strengthen my personal values. I strive to act with respect, humility, responsibility, solidarity, and empathy. I believe that success is not only measured by the degrees obtained or by the position held, but also by the human quality with which others are treated and by the positive impact that is left on each person.

In the future, I want to consolidate myself as an integral professional in Occupational Health and Safety. I aspire to participate in projects that contribute to the well-being of workers, implement effective prevention programs and promote an organizational culture based on the care of life. I also want to continue training myself to respond efficiently to the changes and challenges facing the world of work.

I know that the path of learning is continuous and that there will always be new opportunities to grow. That is why I maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges and I am willing to take on responsibilities that allow me to continue developing both personally and professionally.

When I look back, I recognize that each experience has left a valuable lesson. The moments of joy have allowed me to enjoy the fruits of my effort, while the difficulties have taught me to be resilient, patient, and strong. All of this has contributed to shaping the woman I am today.

I am proud of the road I have traveled so far, but I am also aware that I still have many dreams to fulfill. I will continue to work with dedication to achieve new goals, expand my knowledge and contribute positively to society. I wish to be remembered as an honest, hardworking person committed to the well-being of those around me.
