DJ BEKII

DJ BEKII was born in the 70s, from a family where everyone listened to music every day. Naturally, as a teenager, he recorded the music he heard on the radio, and he was the one DJing at the parties he organized with his brother and sister. In 1993, he got married and had three children. Then, in 2016, he met a DJ from a famous Lyon radio station and started listening to music again, following this DJ at all his gigs in clubs and festive restaurants. Later, he got an opportunity to replace a DJ at a restaurant, and the adventure started again. He DJed in Switzerland, Paris BUDDHA BAR , and Le Havre, in different regions of France, at private parties and bars or festive restaurants. He DJed for the French National Day on July 14 in front of 4,000 people He created the DJ4U collective with some friends, which still performs in the region. He was also nominated for the Lyon d'Or in the Best DJ category. He is decidedly drawn to house music thanks to the DEFECTED RECORDS labels, which he particularly likes. In 2020, for his 50th birthday, he had a great encounter with David JANSEN, with whom he produced 6 tracks between nu disco and funky soul. He hosts a radio show every two weeks called 'Move Your Feet' on LDC RADIO.
