Dicarlo Deeks

Dicarlo Deeks is a Peruvian DJ born and raised in the neighborhoods of Lima, a city whose cultural diversity, urban energy and constant movement have been a fundamental part of the construction of its artistic identity. From an early age he grew up surrounded by music, influenced by his parents and by the sound richness of the 90's and 2000's, times that left a deep mark on his way of understanding and feeling music.

His approach to music culture began long before he became a DJ. Before he was 15 years old, he discovered a strong connection with Hip Hop and Rave culture, finding in these movements a form of expression, freedom and belonging. From then on he began to get involved in different underground movements and collectives, progressively approaching different scenes, sounds and ways of experiencing music outside the conventional circuits.

This stage marked the beginning of a personal search that continues to this day: to find unique sounds capable of generating a real connection between the artist, the music and the audience. In this process, Dicarlo Deeks found his identity within House, Microhouse and Deep Tech, genres that became the territory from which he develops his proposal.

Their sound is characterized by a constant search for groove, details and textures. Their selections move between hypnotic rhythms, deep lines, enveloping percussions and melodies capable of generating different emotions within the same dance floor. More than following a certain formula, their sets are built from the moment, the energy of the audience and the ability to create a musical narrative that evolves progressively.

For Dicarlo Deeks, each presentation represents an opportunity to generate an experience. His sets are conceived as a sound journey, where each transition, rhythm and texture fulfills a purpose within the story that unfolds on the floor. The intention is not only to make people dance, but to create an atmosphere in which the audience can disconnect from everyday life and let themselves be completely carried away by the music.

Their proposal is born from the underground and maintains that spirit as an essential part of their identity.

Dicarlo Deeks represents a new generation of artists who find in electronic music a space to experiment, connect and build identity. From Lima, he continues to develop a proposal that combines groove, depth, energy and euphoria, with the aim of taking each dance floor to a different place.
