Dhany G

Originally from Havana, Cuba (1994), Dhany G discovered his passion for art in childhood when he received a guitar as a gift. His fascination with electronic music came later with the rising local House scene, but it wasn't until the age of 17 that he began his career as a DJ and producer, earning his first residency at La Casona de Miramar.

His style and energy behind the decks quickly won over audiences and promoters, leading to a second residency at the prestigious Salón Rosado de La Tropical. In 2013, he joined the lineup of the Proelectrónica festival in Havana, participating until its final edition in 2016. In the following years, he continued performing at various city events and, in 2019, became part of the EYEIFE festival lineup in Cuba, while also achieving his first international appearances in Panama at the Nature party and Coyotaco club.

Winner of the Cuerda Viva award in the electronic music category in 2021, he also joined the roster of the Coraland festival in April 2022 and later in 2024 at Cayo Santa María, where he shared the stage with international artists such as Henry Saiz, Kamilo Sanclemente, Aarón Sevilla and Animal Picnic, among others.

His productions showcase an atmospheric style, rich in melodies and intense grooves, which have led him to release on labels such as The Soundgarden, Amulanga, Plaisirs Sonores Records, Freegrant Music, Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, SLC-6 Music, among many others. Since late 2018, his tracks have reached top positions on the Release Promo Hype Chart and Beatport's Progressive House and Organic House Top 100 Tracks and Releases.

Thanks to the undeniable quality of his productions, Dhany G has earned the support of renowned artists including Hernán Cattáneo, Richie Hawtin, Cid Inc., Nick Warren, Ruben De Ronde, Patrice Bäumel, and Tony McGuinness, to name a few.

In addition, together with Panamanian producer Leo Pérez, he runs his own label, Nature Rec., dedicated to releasing progressive, deep, and organic music. Currently, Dhany G is a resident DJ at El Bleco, one of Havana's most recognized clubs.
