Disco house changed delf's life. Somewhere in a crowd, years back, a record hit — full of love, full of positivity — and it moved his body before his brain even noticed. Everyone around him was moving too. For a moment they were all in it together. He's been chasing that feeling for other people ever since.
His journey started on vinyl, beatmatching through trance at nights like Gatecrasher — Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren — before Hed Kandi pulled him somewhere warmer. That's where he found his sound: deep grooves, Latin vibes, soulful vocals, disco's energy and that golden hour feeling where love lives. Sunset house, essentially. Uplifting without trying too hard.
These days he plays as delf, building sets around that same tribal dancefloor moment — falling in love with the music, with each other, or both. Over the years that's taken him from bars, pubs and clubs to terraces, waterside venues, garden parties and private parties — anywhere people want to move together. This September he's heading to Ibiza — a good twenty years in the making.
Whether it's a sundowner terrace or a late winter room, the aim's the same: play the record that hits before people think about it and make them feel at one.
