The story of DAVILA DJ (David, 30 years old) is that of an empirical artist whose connection with music began in the classrooms in Medellín, musicalizing the events of his school 12 years ago. What started as a hobby driven by his genuine love of electronic music, evolved into his lifestyle; Today, he has lived exclusively from his art for 4 years. Throughout his career, DAVILA DJ understood the dynamics of the industry and expanded his sound spectrum towards the urban genre, the rhythm that defines him today and for which he is widely recognized in the scene, without neglecting his mastery in the crossover format. His philosophy in the booth is clear and forceful: "Make the music speak for itself". By dispensing with traditional microphone animation, DAVILA DJ focuses on seamless transitions, impeccable audience reading, and a music selection that keeps the track on from start to finish. His experience includes a 2-year residency in one of the most important nightclubs in the region, in addition to presentations in multiple formats: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, bars and renowned clubs. His talent has taken him to various cities and towns in the country, sharing the stage and connecting with important artists in the industry. Currently, he expands his horizons by studying music production, preparing the ground to take the sound of Medellín to an international level.
