DHF

DHF, David Hernández's artistic project, is a DJ and music producer from Mataró (Barcelona), whose sound identity is developed between Progressive House, Melodic House / Melodic Techno and Afro House.

His relationship with electronic music began at the age of 15, discovering his passion for booths and the art of mixing. From the age of 18 he began to perform in different venues and venues in Mataró, consolidating his experience in front of the public. At the age of 20 he was part of the programming of an after party in the city for about a year and a half, a stage that profoundly marked his way of understanding the dance floor and the connection with the audience.

After a serious accident at work that changed his life, music became much more than a passion: it became a tool for personal reconstruction, self-improvement and emotional expression. This experience continues to be one of the main sources of inspiration for his artistic project.

DHF's sound fuses immersive melodies, cinematic atmospheres, deep bass and organic percussions, creating sessions and productions capable of connecting with the audience from both the energy of the dance floor and the emotion.

As a producer he has accumulated more than 20 published productions and has released music through labels such as 73 Muzik, Elantris Records, Enjoy It Productions and Previous Records. Among his works are productions within Progressive House, Melodic House / Melodic Techno and Afro House, always with a marked melodic and emotional identity.

Among his recent performances are his official participation as a DJ in the 10th anniversary of 73 Muzik and his performance at the celebration of Julio Posadas' 50th birthday, held at Eternal (Mataró). Part of these performances has audiovisual material integrated into his professional presentation "DHF Live in Action".

Although it is specialized in these styles, DHF is able to adapt its sessions to different variants of House and electronic music, always maintaining a coherent, elegant musical selection adapted to each event.

His artistic philosophy is built on three pillars: REBORN · ESSENCE · EVOLUTION. "MUSIC THAT INSPIRES" sums up DHF's purpose: to create music capable of inspiring and connecting through emotion. DHF doesn't prick genres. It builds emotions.
