DEMON_DARK PASSENGER

DJ based in Mexico City with a proposal focused on the exploration of dark, electronic and alternative sounds. Their sets cover genres such as goth, darkwave, new wave, post-punk, EBM, new beat, techno, synthwave, synthpop, hi-energy, music from the 80s and sounds related to the Madrid scene, combining classics from the underground scene with lesser-known proposals and new musical discoveries.

Beyond focusing on a single genre, his main interest is in music curation and the possibility of generating connections through music. An important part of his approach as a DJ is to share projects, bands and sounds that can arouse curiosity in those who listen to his sets; from iconic songs to tracks that many people discover for the first time on the track.

She is part of Luto Collective, a collective focused on the creation of alternative events and meeting spaces for the underground scene, promoting the participation of both emerging and established DJs with the aim of strengthening support networks within the independent music community.

He has participated in different events and parties in spaces such as Centro de Salud, Ritual Siniestro (festival), El Culto, Diavolo Pizza, Sausalito (Buen Tiempo), Dark Bar, Templo Mayor, Gandules, Parka Beer, Nisoto Bar and private events, performing both in downtown areas of the city and in peripheral spaces. Part of his vision is to contribute to decentralizing the cultural and musical offer of Mexico City, bringing quality events and proposals to places where access to this type of scene is often more limited.

He regularly works with Pioneer XDJ-R1 equipment and also has experience playing in digital setups with mixer and computer.

Their proposal seeks to create intense, danceable and atmospheric environments, where nostalgia, darkness, electronic energy and musical discovery coexist.
