CVMVS is a 26-year-old Chilean DJ dedicated to electronic music for approximately four years. His musical identity has been built around the creation of sound atmospheres where rhythm, energy, introspection and corporality come into tension. These elements function as central axes in each creative process of building a set, seeking that music not only operates as a danceable stimulus, but also as a physical, emotional and perceptual experience.
Their proposal is currently supported by genres such as bounce and trance, incorporating a more groove and experimental texture that crosses elements of Latin American roots with codes typical of the contemporary club and electronic scene. From there, CVMVS seeks to open new possibilities within the dance floor, exploring hybrid sounds, intense percussions, fragmented rhythms, atmospheric layers and structures that allow the electronic experience to be displaced towards less predictable territories.
His interest is not only in mixing songs, but in building a sound path with identity, tension and progression. Each set seeks to sustain its own stamp, maintaining an active relationship between collective energy, body and perception. In this sense, his training as a Psychology student also crosses his way of understanding music: the structure of sounds, the way in which tension accumulates or is released, and the way in which a track can become a space of shared perception.
CVMVS understands electronic music as a field in permanent transformation. For this reason, his artistic search aims to innovate, update and expand the margins of the scene, integrating new currents that have emerged in recent years and that dialogue with more experimental, Latin and corporal forms of contemporary club. His work proposes an electronic music with roots, risk and its own direction, aimed at creating unique experiences without losing his essence or his personal stamp.
