My name is Cristian Macías Vázquez and I am from Huelva. For four years I have been part of the Santa Cruz de Huelva Musical Group, where I am lucky enough to live one of the most important passions of my life, brotherhood music.

The trumpet has become for me a way of feeling and expressing everything that Holy Week means. Behind each rehearsal, each performance and each processional exit there are many hours of effort, camaraderie and dedication, but above all a lot of feeling. For me, playing is not only about making music, it is about transmitting emotions and accompanying moments that are recorded forever.

Being part of the Santa Cruz de Huelva Musical Group means representing values, a way of understanding music and a passion that is lived throughout the year. Every time I go out to play I try to do it with humility, respect and pride for the colors and the name of my band.

I continue to learn and grow every day as a musician, enjoying every experience that this world gives me and grateful to all the people who are part of the journey. My goal will always be to continue living the music with the same enthusiasm as on the first day and to continue carrying the brotherhood feeling wherever a march sounds.
