Buzz Boutique is a House head since ’88, shaped by the first waves of Chicago House and Acid House. What started as an early obsession with electronic music grew into a long-term relationship with dancefloors, records and sound systems that still defines his approach today.
Over the years, his path took him far beyond Switzerland: from Tokyo, where he became part of the city’s nightlife orbit and played within the wild, hedonistic energy of the Shinjuku scene, to Spain’s east coast, where he found a second musical home and established himself between Alicante and Murcia, including regular appearances at Metro Dance Club. Back in Switzerland, a strong showing in the Mad Friday DJ contest in 2001 led to club dates across Lausanne, Basel, Bern and Zurich.
What defines Buzz Boutique is depth rather than hype. He is a selector shaped by years of digging, listening and dancefloor memory, building groove-led, story-driven sets that move freely from deep to techy while always staying House at heart. His sound draws on the full vocabulary of House: raw and minimal, soulful and dubby, playful and hedonistic, open to newer forms without losing sight of the roots.
Old-school in instinct but never stuck in the past, Buzz Boutique plays with clarity, flow and a strong sense of context. He values coherent sets over quick effects, and connection over spectacle. Whether in a small room or a club with history, the aim stays the same: to create movement, tension and connection through House music in all its shades.
