Behind BICO is Bernardo Díaz Vila, a 16-year-old DJ and producer who, with his feet on the ground and an immense passion, is building his own path in the Venezuelan electronic scene.

Her stage name pays tribute to her Galician ancestors and literally translates to "kiss". More than a family tribute, the name encapsulates its purpose in the booth: to create a genuine, close and electric connection with the audience in each set.

BICO's greatest business asset is its convening power. As a student at Colegio San Ignacio and a passionate soccer player, Bernardo lives and breathes the dynamics of his generation. This authenticity has made it the bridge to the most coveted target in the city: young people between 13 and 18 years old from the most prestigious schools in Caracas.

Where BICO performs, it ensures the attendance of students from Colegio San Ignacio, Instituto Cumbres, Los Arcos, Merici, Instituto Andes, Integral El Ávila, Campitos, Cristo Rey, Jefferson, Academia Washington, ECA; among others. His audience faithfully follows his every touch.

BICO is very clear that he has a long way to go and a lot to learn, but his discipline has already allowed him to live invaluable experiences. A milestone that fills him with pride and gratitude was the opportunity to open one of Victor Porfidio's shows in Caracas (Petit Comité), an experience that motivates him to continue preparing to be part of the generational change of electronic music in the country.

Beyond mixing, BICO stands out for its interest in music production. Behind this facet there is an unbreakable discipline: Bernardo balances his demanding academic responsibilities and his football training with days in his own recording studio; a space designed and built by himself. It is there where he spends his free time creating and exploring new sounds, demonstrating a maturity and sound sophistication outstanding for his age.

This versatility and fresh energy has led him to have the support of fashion brands such as Awasanta and Divinitha, who have trusted him as an ally to connect with young people in an organic way.

BICO is the result of discipline and training. He delved into music production at "Unsounds Records", under the tutelage of experts such as Christian Sydow, Moig and .Jpg. He has also perfected his technique as a DJ with Skynni López; all of them leading talents in the industry and admired by him.

Thanks to his perseverance and dedication, he has had the privilege of taking his musical proposal to demanding stages:

Top Venues in Caracas: Buddha Bar, Mezzanina, Hard Rock Caracas, Salvaje, Kaval, Zoe and Centro Portugués.

Festive Seasons 2026: In Carnival, he was invited to be part of the celebrations in Puerto Azul and Camurí. During Holy Week, he joined the line-up of Margarita Island, playing at the LD Plus Hotel (Playa El Agua), Tótem (Playa Parguito) and Mezzanina.

Events of his Generation: Maintains a genuine connection with his audience by performing in the most important spaces for young people, such as the Bagpipe Festival of the San Ignacio School, Promotional End of Year Parties and After-parties (Confirmations and 4th - 5th).
