BARRIK

I'm BARRIK, DJ and producer from Aguascalientes, Mexico. For me, a good set is not just about playing music that I like, but about understanding the place, reading people and building a night that keeps the energy on the floor.

My proposal is based on electronic music, but I like to break the predictable by incorporating remixes, edits and unexpected mixes of songs that people recognize. That combination allows me to create moments of surprise and connect both with those who already listen to electronic music and with a wider audience.

Every place and every audience is different, so I prefer to adapt my sets to the moment rather than follow a fixed formula. My goal is for the music to accompany the growth of the night, keep people connected and leave moments that they remember later.

Outside the booth I also develop the BARRIK project through social networks, where I share remixes, electronic music and content related to DJ culture, building a community that is also part of the growth of the project.
