Barolec

Jordà Barceló, artistically known as DJ Barolec, is a renowned DJ and reference of the electronic music scene in Mallorca, specializing mainly in the techno genre.

Beginnings and Career Born in Manacor (Mallorca) in 1983, his link with mixes began during adolescence in the Porto Cristo area. His calling was sparked by seeing the underground club culture of the late nineties and the way DJs connected with the dance floor.

In his beginnings, at the height of the techno and house boom in the Balearic Islands, he got his music through vinyls that he acquired in mythical stores on the island. Over the years, Barolec established itself within the Mallorcan circuit of clubs and electronic events.

Acknowledgments Best Techno DJ in Mallorca: He was awarded this award at the first edition of the Mallorca Electronic Music Awards (MEM Awards), held at the Teatre Xesc Forteza in Palma.
