BCT NAZARENO BAZA

The Band of Bugles and Drums of Our Father Jesus Nazareno, was born in May 2024, as a result of the deep devotion and desire to enrich the musical and spiritual heritage of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazareno and Mary Stma. of Victory in its Sorrow and Pain. From its beginning, this musical formation was conceived as an exciting project to unite faith, youth and music under the symbol of the cross and the purple tunic of the Nazarene.

The impetus for its creation came from a group of young people from another musical formation and from the brotherhood itself, which, recognizing the value of processional music as a means of expression and evangelization, offered all its institutional and human support.

Young brotherhoods, experienced musicians and new aspirants came together with the same purpose: to form a band that would accompany its patron with solemnity, respect and feeling.

The first rehearsals were carried out with humility but with great enthusiasm, in premises provided by the city council, in the street, etc. With effort, dedication and fraternal spirit, the band is consolidating itself as a new pillar within the life of the brotherhood.

Its first official departure took place in Holy Week 2025, opening the way to Our Father Jesus Nazareno through the streets of the Blessed Virgin Mary. tanas, in the afternoon/evening of Holy Thursday. That moment marked a before and after in the history of the band, which since then has been committed not only to music, but also to the values of brotherhood: faith, charity, dedication and service.

Currently, the Band continues to grow, made up of musicians who not only perform marches, but also live each bar as a prayer made sound.
