Azen

AZEN is a Moroccan DJ and emerging electronic music artist currently based in Madrid. At 19 years old and alongside his studies, he has been developing a strong passion for electronic music, focusing mainly on afro house, organic house, melodic deep sounds, and selected tech house influences.

His musical approach combines warm percussion, atmospheric melodies, groovy basslines, and emotional textures, creating immersive sets inspired by both African musical roots and contemporary electronic culture. Moving between deep, organic journeys and more energetic club-oriented moments, his sound reflects a balance between rhythm, emotion, and modern electronic aesthetics.

Inspired by artists such as Black Coffee, Shimza, Francis Mercier, WhoMadeWho, VXSION, Nico de Andrea, and ANKHOÏ, AZEN is progressively shaping a clear artistic direction rooted in groove, atmosphere, and melodic storytelling. His influences range from afro-inspired percussion and organic rhythms to deeper melodic soundscapes and modern club energy.

Based between Morocco and Spain, AZEN’s identity reflects a cultural connection between North African roots and European electronic music scenes. Through his mixes and evolving musical vision, he aims to create experiences that feel both immersive and emotionally driven, while maintaining a strong rhythmic and dancefloor-oriented energy.
